I only looked at the adapters listed in the manual and couldn't find anything but the Trendnet that was still available. That's not a show stopper as I love the keyboard, but it is a bit disappointing to see the level of support they're giving to a flagship product.

I'm guessing that the folks who have this working bought their stuff years ago.īetween the USB midi driver not working and no USB ethernet support, it looks like I just spent enough money to buy a used car only to find that moving files requires sneaker net. However, it sounds like that's the only way to get USB -> ethernet support. I'm in the US and didn't search beyond Amazon as I'm not sure I want to invest in discontinued products. I quickly goggled this adapter and found three places in UK selling it who indicated stock. Like the other adapters listed in the 2012 manual, this one seems to no longer be available. Not bought recently, but the Apple adapter works fine on the latest OS with my Kronos X 61įollow kronos.factory development and submit ideas over at the kronos.factory Trello Board Has anyone been able to buy a new adapter that's worked for 3.1? Surely I'm not the only person with a new Kronos who's trying to connect to ethernet. It was written in 2012, and with the exception of the TrendNet (which doesn't work), I can't find any of these on Amazon because they're obsolete.

The recommended Trendnet doesn't work, but the manual is referencing adapters as of 2012, so I'm thinking maybe Trendnet has updated their device so that it doesn't work with the drivers in Kronos 3.1.Īnyone purchase an adapter recently that works on 3.1? Would be grateful for any recommendations. I'm specifically hoping to get info from those who have purchased a Kronos in the past year or so, i.e. I'm looking for usage info about USB -> Ethernet adapters plugged into the Kronos itself (so that I can then just grab an ethernet cable and plug the Kronos into the network), not the laptop / computer you're using. I just realized that I wasn't very clear in my question since the adapter can be used in two scenarios, the Kronos and the computer.
